What is "Uzima?"
Uzima National Youth Mentoring service (Uzima) is a innovative online mentoring service that equips local education agencies (LEA's) to mentor their unreached male populations.

Uzima prepares young men for authenticity and success in their education, character and lives to make the world a more equitable place!

Provide a highly trained mentors and tutors to every school age male in need

Create culturally relevant programing that promotes character and excellence in academics and social/ emotional skills.

Build local networks ("villages") that give males access to the resources needed to thrive.
OUR SERVICES
High School Transition Program
Uzima partners with local MS/HS's to teach Students the building blocks for excellence in their high school career. The course lasts nine sessions from the end of 8th grade to the first semester in 9th grade.
Mentorship "Tribes"
These school-based mentorship cohorts are designed to build character, accountability and community support. They are led by trained UZIMA mentors.
